This is a 60-minute Yin Yoga practice to increase flexibility and promote relaxation. This deep stretch yoga class is for the whole body. We hold poses anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes. There is a 6-minute Savasana and then we close the practice together.
Props needed are a yoga strap and bolster. If you don’t have a yoga strap, use any belt or small towel. If you don’t have a bolster, use any pillow or stack several blankets. I show you these options in the intro. A smaller screen will also appear to show you how to modify the poses and how to do some poses without props.
Comments
“I really appreciated the alternative poses to use without props or as little as possible. Yin yoga is helping me to really get those frozen/tight muscles in back, shoulders, hips to open up. Thank you for sharing this video. Cheers!” – Sandrine Thinnes
“This is one of the best yin practices I have done thank you so much Maris….” – Lisa Gibson
“Hi Maris…I’ve been working hard on my yoga practice recently, and found this Yin yoga absolutely perfect for slowing it down and feeling centered again. Thanks again, Namaste” – Scott Edden
